HORSE SENSE AT WORK

Leadership, Teamwork, Communication through Working With Horses

HORSE SENSE AT WORK: Introduction

By Dr. Grace Ann Rosile, copyright 2000

"Horse Sense" is what Dr. Rosile says we can learn about workplace and family relationships, through working with horses. Her learning activities with horses can teach us about leadership, communication, teamwork, empowerment, conflict handling, and other popular management topics. For articles, photos, and events information, see www.horsesenseatwork.com.

Horse Sense is based on researching and teaching in the management field for over 20 years, and raising and training horses for almost that long. In addition to her articles on Horse Sense, she has made presentations in Cleveland and Columbus Ohio, Chicago Illinois, Orlando Florida, Las Vegas Nevada, and internationally in Athens Greece, Lille and Paris France, Gratz Austria, and Toronto Canada.

Grace Ann also ran her own business (Cherry Lane Arabians) for 10 years. She says that boarding 28 horses, and raising and training her own Arabians for the demanding sport of dressage, taught her more about management education and human learning than all her years of graduate school. She will write about this in her next book, Horse Sense At Work. Dr. Rosile also shares her husband Dr. David Boje's interest in storytelling for personal and organizational development. Currently, Grace Ann and David coordinate their international consulting, lecturing, and teaching from their home in beautiful New Mexico.
